State-owned electricity company Bintan's Substation

CENTRALBATAM.CO.ID, BINTAN – State-owned electricity company (PLN) and local government of Province Riau Archipelago (Kepri) and Bintan Regency give definite assurance for potential investors who want to invest a business in Bintan.

Certainty is certainly supported by the operation of Batam-Bintan interconnection network that transmits power 150 Mega Watt (MW) of power plants that central in Batam. Thus, the problem of electricity power lately that has become a classic complaint for investors to invest in Bintan, now is resolved.

The General Manager (GM) of State-owned electricity company, Jurlian Sitanggang said that the demand for electricity for both region Bintan and Tanjungpinang already be fulfilled completely. Include fulfilling the power needs of prospective investors for the both region.

“We are ready to accept investors who want to invest here, because 4 substation already in operation to cover the power requirements at this time,” said Jurlian at a press conference, Tuesday 23rd August 2016.
