CENTRALBATAM.CO.ID, TANJUNGPINANG –The Mayor in Tanjung Pinang’s city, Province Kepuluan Riau, Indonesia this morning reported has suspected by coronavirus or Covid-19.
Responding to the growing information related to the health of the Mayor of Tanjungpinang, Local Head of Health Agency Rustam said, “The justification that the Mayor is currently getting treatment and observation at RSUD Raja Haji Fisabilillah”
“Since a few weeks ago the mayor has felt a number of health problems such as fever and increased blood sugar,” Rustam added according to the online local media.
As a form of vigilance against Covid-19, a rapid test was conducted on him several days ago. And Rustam said “The results showed as negative which mean non-reactive covid-19”
“He further said, swab taking had been carried out for PCR examination at the Ministry of Health. So far we didn’t what’s going on submitted,” he added.
For additional information, Covid-19 positive cases in Riau Islands Province (Riau Islands) increased by 2 cases or a total of 23 cases. (reported yesterday 10th April 2020).
