CENTRALBATAM.CO.ID, BINTAN –Bintan’s Regent, Roby Kurniawan expected to Proposes to the ministry of immigration that a visa free exemption be given to foreign tourists that come to visit Bintan Regency.
This statement said by Roby Kurniawan after signing of the MoU between Bintan Resorts Cakrawala Management and Resorts World Cruises at Doulus Phos the Ship hotel.
It says, if visa-free implementation can be realized, the number of tourist visits to Bintan will increase sharply.
“I Will try my best to re-rise Bintan tourism industry. And one of our step is by propuse to the ministry of immigration that a visa free exemption to be given to foreign tourists that come to visit Bintan Regency,” said Roby.
After Pandemic Covid-19 , the tourism’s industry in Bintan Regency began rising up . This is approved by one of cruise ships under the management of Resorts World Cruises re enter Bintan on Saturday (2/6) after 2 years vacuum.
More over Roby said “The tourists who had been confined by Covid-19 since 2 years wanted to return to have a great adventure in Bintan. So the best thing to do is, to apply visa on arrival (VoA)-free for tourists,”
“Due to the VoA-free implementation, the number of foreign tourist come to visits Indonesia (include Bintan’s island) of course will increase till 400 percent,” added by Roby (Ndn)
